My story
I moved here going on 13/14 years ago from South Carolina with my husband 4 dogs and two cats. The move to Llano Texas was a hard one but family ALWAYS comes first. I was born in Daytona Beach Florida and have only ever lived on the East Cost, so the thought of moving to Texas…to the “sleepy little town of Llano” terrified me.
After about two years I let two people, who’d later become like family. Cheryl and Diana convinced me to sell tickets for a play they were working on with my husband…it’ll be fun they said. Boy were they right. I have performed in the Lantex for years during my stint in Llano Community Theater and fell in love with our “Ole Girl” as I like to call her and knew I wanted to become the manager of this Historic Theater.
When Tony Guidroz informed me that the managers position was available and being posted I KNEW I had to have it. To say I am obsessed with Ole Girl is an understatement. I am proud, honored, and humbled to get to take her into the future. I have big plans for our Historic Theater and with her turning 100 next year I hope to do Llano and surrounding areas proud.
