ABOUT THIS WEBSITE
A website for “Ole Girl,” as George says,
ahead of her hundredth.
Hi, I’m Jeff. I designed, built, and donated this website to give the LanTex an online home worthy of her history, one that captures her character and honors her legacy as she approaches her centennial.
By day I'm a systems administrator and developer. I've spent more than seventeen years running Linux servers, hosting, and network infrastructure, and I build software on the side, mostly tools that make everyday work simpler and more reliable.
I like practical problems, and I like explaining them in plain English. A hundred-year-old theater on a courthouse square deserved a site that's easy to use, quick to load, and built to last a while.

HOW THIS SITE WAS MADEBUILT BY HAND
Every page was drawn first, then built to match. No templates, no page builder.
KEPT SIMPLE
Fast on a phone, readable on a slow connection, and easy for the theater to keep current.
DONATED
The design and the build are a gift to the LanTex, made for the theater and the town that keeps her going.

A shop on the square, a church, a ranch, a nonprofit, a small business that's been meaning to get online. I build websites that look like the place they belong to: made by hand, fast on a phone, and easy to keep current. Give me a call or drop me a line and let's talk about yours.
